Dr. Baghdadi’s journey in medicine began in 1995 when he graduated from medical school in Iran. He dedicated many years to serving as a General Practitioner in rural areas, where he gained invaluable experience and developed a deep commitment to patient care. In 2013, Dr. Baghdadi moved to Australia, where he continued his practice in the picturesque Whitsunday area in Queensland.

During his six years in Whitsunday, Dr. Baghdadi not only provided exceptional care to his patients but also completed his specialty training in General Practice with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). His dedication to continuous learning and excellence in patient care has made him a respected member of the medical community.

A New Chapter in Sydney

In 2021, Dr. Baghdadi relocated to Sydney with a vision to settle and continue his medical career at Kildare Road Medical Centre. His diverse experience and expertise in various aspects of General Practice make him an invaluable asset to our team. We are thrilled to share that Dr. Andrew Melito has returned to practicing out of Kildare Road Medical Centre! After a brief time away, Dr. Melito has rejoined our community, bringing with him a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to health care.

Dr. Melito is not just a physician; he is a proud Aboriginal Wiradjuri man who was raised right here in Mount Druitt. His connection to the area and its people adds a layer of understanding and empathy to his practice, especially concerning regional Aboriginal health and wellbeing issues.
