Dr. Humphris is a General Practitioner with an interest in Chronic Disease. He studied at the University of Adelaide and the University of Sydney and followed this with several years in hospital-based medicine. He holds a Masters in International Public Health and has undertaken humanitarian work in Ethiopia, the Middle East, Sudan and other regions over a 10 year period. Dr Humphris has extensive experience in the medical and public health response to infectious disease outbreaks and other health emergencies. He has served as a Director of Medecins Sans Frontieres Australia. Dr Humphris has also worked as the Medical Officer in remote Aboriginal communities in central Australia over a 4-year period.

The Clean Slate Clinic program involves holistic detox assistance for the 10-day detox period, including pre-detox vitamin injections, daily attendance to the Clinic for progress checks, daily breathalyser tests, and a post-detox review.

The KRMC Clean Slate Clinic provides a discreet service for those wishing to address problem drinking. Supported by our highly-trained nurses, the Clinic offers a 10 day outpatient program, follow up consults, group support and external referrals if necessary. The program has a high success rate in cutting down / ending problem drinking and is the subject of a medical study paper.
The program is available to KRMC patients.
The program is mainly bulk-billed for concession card holders, with a clinical fee applying for other patients.
