This takes the form of a medical questionnaire and a physical examination. The physical examination includes a sight test (including colour blindness), cardiovascular, respiratory, gastrointestinal and ENT examinations and a general musculoskeletal examination.

Our Functional Physical Assessment focuses on the cause of most workers’ compensation claims: musculoskeletal injuries. These injuries can arise because an employee is not physically suited to the role – typically a manual handling role – for which he/she has been employed.

Hearing tests are carried out in KRMC’s on-site hearing booth
Doctors consulting from KRMC and Allied Health Professionals can provide on-site seminars for employees on a variety of subjects, including diet & exercise, drug & alcohol misuse, mental health and skin cancer prevention & treatment.
Lung function tests and ECGs are carried out in KRMC’s Treatment Room.
Vision Tests are carried out in KRMC’s Treatment Room.
Instant Drug Screening (by way of a urine sample) is carried out in KRMC’s Treatment Room.
For non-negative results – and on request – samples are sent via our on-site pathology collector, Australian Clinical Labs for further testing.
Australian Clinical Labs Pathology collectors, located on-site at KRMC, are accredited to carry out AS4308 Standard Screenings.
Alcohol Breath Tests are carried out in KRMC’s Treatment Room.
